White wines
The main varieties of white wines are Malvasia Fina, Viasinho, Gouveio and Rabigato.
The new white wines have pale color, fruity aroma of citrus and slightly floral. Great to accompany fish dishes, salads or simply to serve as an aperitif.
The white wines of the region have Guard aromatic intensity and complexity of flavor. Usually fermented in wooden barrels, with a golden color and slightly toasted aroma and tropical fruit. Well accompany fish dishes like salmon but can also be served with chicken or rabbit.
Rosé wines
